materials introduction
11.08.21
So after many requests we have finally started to cover how to create Maxwell materials. So to start things off we are going to cover base materials, glass, metal, and textured materials with displacement maps. I know that a lot of you out there are using different modeling software but the use of the Maxwell Material editor is pretty universal. In this video we were using 3DS Max as our modeling software. We have also attached the working files that we using in the making of this tutorial so if you are having trouble on your end you can just download the working files and see where you are going wrong.
As always if you have any questions feel free to email us or comment in the comment box below. Thanks guys for checking out our videos.

We run on coffee. Donations buy us coffee which helps us stay awake and working on tutorials. No coffee, no tutorials.
If you are looking for something specific in the site then try our search feature, but be warned it is in the beta stage. So, be prepared for some weird results. That is our official disclaimer, so you can't complain if it doesn't work the way you want it to.
Is there a specific program that you use as an architect that we dont have on this site? Is there a process that you know of that is superior to one we showed in one of our videos. If yes then drop us a line here at our suggestions page.
