Adobe Indesign is a layout based program that is essential to architects and graphic designers. The ability to layout content on the same pages reguardless of the software package that was used to create it, gives designers the ability to create consistent and convincing documents.
Indesign is primarily used to create layouts for documents used in the presentation of proposals rather than the creation of images used in the proposals.
Understanding how to layout both vector and pixel information that comes from various software suites can give a designer the tools to convey a design clearly and convincingly.
With all that said learn this program!
