10.02.08 | makerbot finished?!
We have finished building our little open source 3D printer! However, the tinkering never stops! We are currently fine tuning the design and expect to see images of our builds and the development of the bot as they are ready to post.
Right now we are working on building a heated build platform and are currently designing an enclosure so the model will retain it’s heat when building. If you have any questions, or want us to try building one of your models, just send us a line and we will see what we can work out.

We have officially joined the wave! We got our invite early Tuesday morning and have been exploring the future of the internet ever since. We will be creating an official deprocess wave and start integrating the wave comments feature into the deprocess site over the next few months.
We will also be giving away a Google wave invite in the coming weeks to any one on the deprocess mailing list so stay tuned for that announcement! So, if you want the chance to win a Google wave invite join our mailing list, found here.

10.02.04 | resonance, music and architecture
"Essays on the Intersection of Music and Architecture" is a collection of nine texts written by international scholars. Most of the essays were originally presented at the interdisciplinary conference Architecture | Music | Acoustics that took place in Toronto, Canada, in June 2006 at Ryerson University. The texts range from historiographical and theoretical explorations of the relations between music and architecture via translations of architectural spaces into music to analytical case studies of architectural spaces for musical performance. The book includes illustrations, author biographies, and an index.
