sketchup topo creation
In this video we will cover how to take topography models you have created in other programs and manipulate them in SketchUp.
This process will give you the ability to iterate quickly through design decisions for the site and actually see the end result of these decisions in physical form. It is important to use this technology to its fullest extent, by bringing the models to a tangible result. While the computer for model visualization is a very useful tool, seeing a model in its physical form is that much more potent when explaining a design.
See Lynn we dont think SketchUp is so bad that we will not make a tutorial covering it!

where have we been?

We know that we haven't posted anything in a month but dont give up on us just yet! We have been busy starting our rendering and visualization consulting service. We have been working with Marlon Blackwell Architect on their addition for the Fay Jones School of Architecture. We have been rendering their models on our render farm and have been Photoshoping their final renderings to create some pretty convincing images.
We plan on posting this work very soon in our projects section of our website, so stay tuned to see what we have been up to instead of creating tutorials.
One last thing, if you are an architect or architecture student and you are interested in rendering and visualization services drop us a line in the contact section and we will get back to you with all the details that you might need to know regarding our services.
So we are sorry for our recent absence, but we are currently working on four new tutorials that we plan to have up starting next week!
